The team at Precision have been my "go to" auto mechanics for more than a decade, and every time I see them they earn my business all over again. They are incredibly honest, and amazing mechanics. I took my 2014 Ford Escape to have a noise in the engine checked. Turns out the noise was normal -just valves for the injectors- but there was a slight oil leak around the turbo charger. They could have said "that's going to be a $2,000 repair," or they could have said nothing and let me go until the next service when it was out of warranty. Instead, Scott pointed out that I had 58,000+ miles on my Ford and a 60,000 mile warranty that should cover the turbo. He recommended calling the dealer right away for a free repair. I did, and it is scheduled to be repaired under warranty. I didn't know the turbo was covered up to 60,000 miles, but Precision made sure I didn't spend any money I didn't need to. That kind of honesty is too rare. The team at Precision earned the five stars I have given them.

I saw Precision got pretty good reviews and came to them to fix some worn brakes. Overall I find they did a great job, including driving me for free to and from the shop while my car was in for repairs (what was otherwise ~$10 Uber each way). They do a comprehensive review of your car for about $80-90, which I found useful as a way to see what parts of my car will need replacement soon. Full disclosure: they offer 10-20% off labor for reviews, but fwiw, the 10-20% off is for positive or negative reviews. I just happened to find visiting them a worthwhile experience.

Great shop and great service. Scott took care of my car after a breakdown and was the definition of great customer service.(And I'm a former customer service trainer for a major public works department in the area.) I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family!

When my Chevy 3500 Diesel Pick-up Truck developed an issue with its Transmission Control Module (TCM) I took it to the Chevy dealer. When that dealer didn't fix it I had it towed to a second Chevy dealer. When it looked like the second dealer wouldn't be able to make the repair, I called Precision Auto Service in Sacramento. I spoke with Rick. After days of dealing with the problem, I had gained some knowledge concerning TCMs (essentially a computer that helps the vehicle's transmission be as efficient as possible). From speaking with Rick, I could tell he knew his stuff. I explained the problem and asked if Precision Auto would be able to fix it, in the event the second dealer could not. Rick assured me they could make the repair. Next, Rick asked me about my warranty with Chevy. My truck is six years old and has 63K miles - well over the warranty - or so I thought. Rick educated me as to the Federal Emissions Warrant that goes beyond the GM warranty. I looked into it as neither dealer had mentioned it. Chevy was able to make the repair and was ready to bill me over $900. Because of Rick's technical expertise and his mentioning of the Federal Emissions Warranty, I knew the dealer wasn't being 'up front' regarding coverage under warranty. In the end, I didn't pay a dime! Next time my truck has any need at all I will have Precision Auto Service do the work. Before I could write a Yelp review on this business, I wanted to personally visit Precision Auto Repair; I had dealt with them over the phone only up to this point. I met Rick and his business partner Scott. Both very personable and knowledgeable. I viewed the business and the repair bays. Precision Auto Service is clean, well run, and professional automotive repair shop.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. They are courteous, efficient, and personable. My new go-to mechanic! Theyarranged a rental car for me, did a comprehensive check of my vehicle, and made recommendations for further service without being pushy.

Five star service they took there time, provided me excellent information regarding my cars engine and over all vehicle condition. That's why I chose this shop they are friendly and informative. They provide options that can save you money. However they get the job done with very high quality work.
